Visual identity system developed for “La Burreria”, a franchise model of artisan burritos made with traditional recipes. The development of the visual identity of this project takes as a reference the story of Juan Méndez, a taco vendor during the period of the Mexican Revolution, who used a donkey as a transport for himself and his tacos.
We looked for a graphic style that would refer to advertising in the early 19th century, since “La Burreria” is distinguished by its burritos made with traditional recipes. Furthermore, the donkey symbol reinforces the concept of distribution on proprietary routes, characteristic of the proposed business model.
